Waterloo Region stopped adding fluoride to the water supply in 2010. If you are moving from a city that fluoridates, your teeth are used to that protection. Get a fluoride mouthwash ($5 at any Shoppers), use fluoride toothpaste, and tell your dentist you just moved here. (2) Check Medimap.ca for walk-in clinics that accept ongoing patients. (3) The Waterloo Region Community Health Centre (519-746-1950) offers care to those without a doctor.
